Irine Røsnes

Tutor in Violin

Irine Røsnes is a passionate advocate for new music and innovative ways of thinking about art. Currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Huddersfield, Ms. Røsnes has appeared as a soloist, concertmaster, and as an ensemble and orchestral player throughout Europe and North America.

Irine is a passionate educator and has been working with students of all ages and levels for more than a decade. Recent teaching engagements include working for: MUNO (Norwegian Organization for Musical Education); as well as at the University of Huddersfield, where she is carrying out research on violin and live electronics performance practice after 1997.

Ms Røsnes speaks Norwegian, Russian, English, and German. She teaches Violin at the LeVii Academy.
